What are pathogens? |
They are bacteria and viruses |

What is bacteria? |
bacteria is very small in our bodies. They can reproduce themselves. The bacteria makes you ill by producing toxins or damaging your cells. |

What are viruses? |
Virus are not cells. They are 1/100th of the size of a bacterium. They ionfect the cell, reproduce and damage and destroys the body. |

What does the white blood cell do? |
It will travel around your blood. looking out for any microbes (bacteria) and will engulf foreign cells and digest them. |

What does antibodies do? |
They lock onto the pathogen and kills the invading cells by biting it until it is killed |

What does antitoxins do? |
They neutralise toxins (ITS IN THE NAME!!!!) |
