Rigidity due to biochemical changes in the muscle tissue.
6-12 hours after death.
Rigidity remains for 2-3 days then disappears.
What is livor mortis and where would you look to find it?
Weh blood circualtion stops and blood pools in the lower extremities due to gravity. Appears 1 hour after death and fully developed w/in 3-4 hours. Can be used to determine whether the body has been moved from its original position
