What is Gibb's free energy?

What is feedback inhibition?
A metabolic pathway is where one enzyme processes its substrate, and the processed substrate goes to the next enzyme, which processes it, and the result of that enzyme goes to the next enzyme, and so forth.
Feedback inhibition is where the final result of this chain of enzymes has a special property (I don't know what properties that could be) that makes it able to basically turn off the first enzyme. If the first enzyme doesn't work, then none of the ones after it will. This means that no more of the final substance is produce.
