A path described by a moving point, it HAS DIMENSION (length).
example: zipline,thread etc.
<-------->
AB read as line AB (a line has arrows on each side)
What is a plane?
A flat surface,HAS DIMENSION (has length & width but has NO THICKNESS),can be named by at least 3 POINTS.

a part of a line that begins on one point & ends on another point.
_____
RA read as line segment RA
What is a ray?
Part of a line that extends INDEFINITELY in one direction.
--------->
AZ read as ray AZ (has only one arrow in one endpoint)
What is a bisector?
A line that intersects the line segment at its midpoint.
Angle,Vertex,Degree
Angle- two rays with a common endpoint.
Vertex- a common endpoint.
Degree- most common unit of measure for angle.
Midpoint
Divides the line segment into two congruent segments.
Congruent,Collinear
Congruent- Exactly the same or equal measures.
Collinear- points that are in one line.
Acute angles
Measures between 0° and 90°
Right angles
Measures equal to 90°
Obtuse angles
Measures between 90° and 180°
Perimeter
Rectangle= (2×L) + (2×W)
Square= S×4
Triangle= a+b+c
Area
Rectangle= L×W
Square= S×S
Triangle= (b×h)÷2
Parallelogram= b×h
Trapezoid= (b1 + b2)×h÷2
Complementary Angles
