In Discovery 1:2, What does the word "true" mean?
Always good, right, honest. Cannot be wrong, false or lie.
In Discovery 1:6, the facts are:

1) Everyone is born a sinner, and everyone sins. 2) They need to trust God. 3) People today and people long ago tried to take care of that sin problem on their own, but they missed the mark. They couldn't work hard enough to be become right in God's eyes. By learning about these people , we understand why trusting Christ is so important.

What does it mean for me to trust Christ as Savior?
I need to understand that I'm a sinner and separated from God. God sent His Son. The Lord Jesus Christ to die for me on the cross. He rose again after 3 days. I need to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
