Cromwell called lutheran-influenced bishops together. Initially authorised hy Henry he later revoked its usage and produced a critique on it.

The Six Articles date and details?

1539. Upheld Catholic beliefs. To show foreign rulers H8 was still catholic. Further reinforced by resignation of two bishops.

The King's Book date and details?

1543. Written by bishops but had a preface by Henry. Much more openly conservative than bishops book. Along with six articles, provided statement of beliefs of the church of england to take up after Henry's death.
