Africa was the center-piece of the slave trade. Britain and other European countries involved themselves with the trade.

Africa was divided into individual clans who was based on port cities that the Islamic people and Europeans set up and where resources were plentiful.
Technology, what were advances by the Africans and how did they get them?
The Africans gained firepower from the Europeans and gained knowledge from the religions who were involved. Ie Christianity and Islam
Economy, How did the African economy change when the Europeans came to Africa?
The African economy expanded past what it was before, the agriculture and technology was able to grow because of European and Eastern knowledge.
Demography, where did the tribes move to during the slave trade along with the Islamic trade?
The tribes moved to the coast so they could contact the traders and have contact with the resources that were needed.
