What is the "Epithelium" |
Thin layer of tissue that essentially covers all free surfaces of the body. It acts as a barrier between the tissue underneath and the environment above. |

What is transition epithelial tissue? |
A type of epithelial tissue that resembles stratified cuboidal, but exists in areas like the bladder and can change dramatically in shape with stretching and relaxation |
