Herodotus
The first historian. He is known as the father of history because of his factual account of the Persian wars. WE get the word history from is book.

They were both playrights of greek tragedies. One was to use multiple actors and background scenery in his plays. He wrote Oedipus rex and antigone. The other wrote about regular people and real life situation

A author of many fables including the tortoise and the hare. He was a slave, but his original homeland is not known. He was freed at one time and was reportedly killed

He was an early pioneer in the field of medicine. He established a code of ethics for people working the medical field. The Hippocratic Oath. Doctors still use parts of this oath today

he was a poet. He is credited with being the author of epic poems. The lliad and the oddessey- considered to be some Greece's finest literature. It is believed that he was blind and recited or sand his long poems by memory

She was a philosopher, astronomer, mathamatician, and a teacher. She wrote several books about math. She was cruelly murdered by a mob of Christians for her pagan beiliefs

He was a philosopher and teacher. He was a student of Socrates and teacher to aristotle. He founded an academy which is one of the earliest known organized schools. He wrote about the teachings of Socrates as well as his own thoughts.

He was a theorist in mathematics, music, and astronomy. He was the first to prove that the square of a hypotenuse of a right triangle is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides.
