What are the Branches of the Trigeminal and their sensory functions?
Opthalmic (V1):
frontal portion of head
dura mater of anterior cranial fossa
area of face up to upper eyelid
bridge of nose and tip of nose
frontal sinus

Maxillary (V2):
middle area of face from lower eyelid unto upper lips, upper teeth and gums, sides of nose, maxillary sinus

Mandibular (V3):
lower lips and teeth
gums
mandible and area over it up to angle of mouth
part o external ear and part of dura meningeal layer

muscles of mastication: medial, lateral pterygoid, masseter, temporalis

mylohyoid, anterior belly of digastric (muscle of deglutition), tensor typani (middle ear muscle) and tensor palat (muscle of palate)

taste from anterior 2/3 of tongue from soft palate
