Intervertebral disks of fibro cartilage

Located between the bodies of adjacent vertabrae, provide additional suppourt and prevent the vertebreal bodies from rubbing against each other

An external Annulus fibrosus (fibrous ring) and an internal nucleus pulposus (pulp)
