Conceptus
All products of conception, ranging from a fertilized egg to the full-term fetus with its extramembryonic membranes, placenta, and umbilical cord.
Vesicle
A fluid-filled tissue sac or an organelle such as a synaptic or secretory vessel
Vulva
The female external genitaliz; the labia major and all external structures between then.
Myoepithelial Cell
An epithelial cell that has become specialized to contract like a muscle cell; important in dilation of the pupil and ejection of secretions from gland acini.
Cumulus Oophorus
A multilayered aggregation of cells that surround an egg before and after ovulation.
Cervical
Pertaining to the neck or any cervix.
Lactation
The secretion of milk.

A watery, low-fat secretion of the mammary gland that nourishes and immunizes an infant for the first 2 to 3 days postpartum, until true milk is secreted.
Uterine Tube
A duct that extends from the ovary to the uterus and conveys an egg or conceptus to the uterus; also called fallopian tube or oviduct.
