Atropine 0.5 - 1.0 mg IV q 3-5 min

Namenda, 5 - 10 mg, initiate with 5 mg qd until 10 mg bid. Alzheimer's, no cholinergics side effects

Namantadine MOA and side effects
|
Glutaminergic agent. NMD receptor antagonist. Dizziness, confusion, constipation, h/a, rash.

Namantadine drug interactions
|
alcaline urine, increases namantadine blood levels, and side effects. May interfire with blood levels of quinine and diuretics
|

|
NMDA drugs
|
mamantadine, amantadine (symmetrel), ketamine and dextromethorphan. Do not combine then may potentiate its effects
