How does the Air Force define Sexual Assault?
Sexual assault is intentional sexual contact, characterized by use of force, threats,intimidation, abuse of authority, or when the victim does not or cannot consent.
How does the Air Force define Consent?
“Consent” shall not be deemed or construed to mean the failure by the victim to offerphysical resistance. Consent is not given when a person uses force, threat of force,coercion, or when the victim is asleep, incapacitated or unconscious.
How does the Air Force define a:Bystander:Victim:Facilitator:Perpetrator:
Bystander: A person who sees the potential for a sexual assault. Victim: The personassaulted by the perpetrator. Facilitator: The person who enables, encourages, or creates asituation that allows a perpetrator to act. Perpetrator: The criminal who assaults thevictim.
What is the difference between restricted and unrestricted reporting?
In unrestricted reporting an investigation is conducted, in restricted reporting a sexualassault victim can disclose details of his or her assault to specified individuals withouttriggering the official investigation process.

Aggravated Assault

Workplace Violence

Overconfidence
The repeated, unreasonable, and unwanted actions byindividuals or groups directed at individuals or groupswith the intent to intimidate, harass, degrade, or offend.
Workplace Bullying
A violent physical or verbal attack, an unlawful threat, oran attempt to do violence or harm to somebody else
Assault
Not taking action associated with workplace violencewhen warning signs are evident.
Inaction
Places all employees on notice that threats, assaults, orother acts of violence, made directly or indirectly, even injest, toward other employees or customers will result insevere disciplinary action. Employees subjected to athreat or assault must immediately report the incident totheir commander. Employees are also encouraged toreport any unusual situation that has the potential to causeworkplace violence
