J: I want to colonize Mars after I find the fountain of youth. (She is confused) I know what I don't want. |

L: I keep telling myself it's just a job until other stuff starts moving. I dunno, I may have made a mistake quitting my other gig. |
J: What was your other gig? |

J: Why do you care? (She shrugs and smiles. Jay eases) I know I want to figure things out on my own without people telling me what to do. |

J: I'd love to hear you play. |

L: (goes to counter, gets bag, grabs cd) You can have this on one condition. (I nod) You have to show me what you've written once it's on paper. |
