SLOPE
The slope of a line is a number that measures its "steepness", usually denoted by the letter m. It is the change in y for a unit change in x along the line.
SLOPE INTERCEPT FORM
The equation of a straight line in the form y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y-coordinate of the point where the line intercepts the y-axis.
HORIZONTAL LINE
a line parallel to the earth’s surface or the bottom of a page.
POINT SLOPE FORM
the form of an equation of a line based on the slope and a point on the line
X INTERCEPT
The point where a graph crosses the x-axis.
SLOPE
The slope of a line is a number that measures its "steepness", usually denoted by the letter m. It is the change in y for a unit change in x along the line.
Y INTERCEPT
Place where the regression line (least square line) crosses the y axis.
SLOPE INTERCEPT FORM
The equation of a straight line in the form y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y-coordinate of the point where the line intercepts the y-axis.
SLOPE FORMULA
In mathematics, the slope or gradient of a line describes its steepness, incline, or grade. A higher slope value indicates a steeper incline.
HORIZONTAL LINE
a line parallel to the earth’s surface or the bottom of a page.
VERTICAL LINE
A vertical line is a line perpendicular to the horizontal plane.
POINT SLOPE FORM
the form of an equation of a line based on the slope and a point on the line
STANDARD FORM
the usual form of a number
