Dosage and administration of Albuterol?
|
ADULT:supplied in .5% solution (5mg/mL) dilute .5% solution for inhalation with 2.5 mL normal saline in nebulizer and administer during 10-15 minutes. MDI: 1-2 inhalations
PEDS: administer solution of .01-.03mL (.05 - .15mg/kg/dose diluted in 2 mL of .9% normal saline) may repeat every 20 minutes 3 times. |
