VASOPRESSIN
C: Naturally occuring ADH, potent vasoconstrictor at high doses
D: 40 Units IV
I: PULSLESS ARREST, SEPTIC SHOCK
EPINEPHRINE
C: Sympathomimetic
A: Increase HR,automaticity, contractility,myocardial O2 demand,SVR vasoconstriction,and Increases coronary and cerebral blood flow
D: 1mg (1:10,000)IVP repeat q 3-5 mins. can be given as a drip for sym. bradycardia @2-10mcg/min. Mix 1mg in 500mL/NS for continous infusion.

C: anticholinergic agent
A: Increases AV conduction, may restore cardiac rhythm in asystole
D: BRADYCARDIA 0.5mg q3-5mins. to 3mg
ASYSTOLE/PEA
1mg q3-5mins. to 3mg
I: bradycardia,Asystole, PEA w/ relative bradycardia
C/I: with type II av block
AMIODARONE
(CORDARONE)
C: Class III antidysrhthmic
A: Effects NA+, K+, CA+ channels as well as alpha and beta blocking effects
D: VF/PULSELESS VT
300mg rapid IVP in 20-30mL/NS repeat once in 5-10 min. at 150mg
TACHYCARDIA+PULSE
150mg IV over 10 min. followed by 1mg/min cont infusion for 6 hrs.
I: VFIB,VT,PSVT,& RAPID ATRIAL RHYTHMS
C/I: total dose not to exceed 2.2Gms
LIDOCAINE
C: Antidysrhythmic
A: ↓ automaticity by decreasing the slope of phase 4 diastolic depolarization
D: VFIB
1-1.5 mg/kg repeated in 5 min as .5-.75 mg/kg to 3mg/kg
VTACH W/PULSE
.5-.75mg/kg IV,repeat in 5-10 min to 3mg/kg
I: VFIB,VTACH with a pulse, and wide complex tachycardias
