What three ways can you administer drugs?
Peripheral IV - 20 ml of fluid after administration. elevate extremities.

Intra osseous - Same as IV

Endotracheal - dilute with water or 10 ml NS. Naracan, Atropine, Epinephrine, Vasopressin, Lidocaine
When is Adenosine Indicated? Route? Dose?
Indicated in stable PSVT. Does NOT convert Afib, Aflutter or Vtach

Dose: Remember 6, 12, 12!
When is Amiodarone indicated? Dose?
Indicated in refractory Vfib and pulseless Vtach.

Cardiac Arrest -> Unresponsive to CPR, shock and vasopressin

Dose: 300mg, 150mg
When is Aspirin indicated? Precautions? Dosage?
Indicated in anyone with ACS, chest pain etc...

Don't give to patients with aspirin allergies, asthma or gastric ulcers!

Dose: 160-325 PO
*If patient is unable to chew/PO, do rectal suppository at 300mg. =0
