Primary Responsibility
Respect the digity and promote the welfare of clients.
Records
Follow laws, regulations, or agency/institution procedures. Timely and sufficent. Most show the progress and services provided. Make steps to correct errors and show steps.
Counseling Plan
Work Jointly with client to develop a counseling plan that is reasonable, consistent with abilities and circumstances. Reviewed regularly.
Suppport Network Involvement
Enlist support, understanding, and involvement of others as positive resources, with clients consent.
Employment Needs
Determine strengths and limitations.
Informed Consent
Clients must be fully informed of what counseling will entail. Obligation to review in writing and verbally the clients rights and responsibilities. Ongoing throughout therapy.
