Define Missed abortion:
The fetus died before 20 completed gestational weeks but products of conception are retained for a prolonged period of time. (2 or more weeks).
Define Threatened abortion:
Appearance of signs & symptoms of peossible loss of the fetus, i.e. vaginal bleeding with or without intermittent pain
Define Incomplete abortion:
An abortion in which part of the products of conception has been retained in the uterus.
Define Complete abortion:
All the products of conception have been expelled from the uterus.
