What is "Sidq"?
|
Sidq is derived from the root SaDaQa, which means to be true, to be sincere, to speak truly or to be right. it is considered to be one of the chief characteristics (sifat) of Allah (swt)

What does it mean by generosity?
|
Forgiving others; withdrawing one's claims; spending out of one's surplus on others, anytime and under any circumstances; using one's talent; risking one's honor and life to save others and laying down ones life for the sake of the truth. All of these come under the meaning of generosity.
