A government is the institution through which society makes and enforces its public policies.

A statement of limited government it clearly defines the distribution of pwoer through a system of checks and balances.

A written grant of authority from the king
Confederation
Form of government in which an alliance of independent states creates a centeral government of very limited power, the state is soverign, unless a power has been given to the government
State
A body of people living in a defined territory, organized politically-with a government- with the power to make and enforce law without the consent of any higher authority
Dictatorship
Form of government in which those who rule cannot be held responsible to the will of the people
