7.01 Design of Education and Training Programs
Psychologists responsible for education and training programs take reasonble steps to ensure that programs provide appropriate knowledge, experience to meet requirements for licensure, certification or goal for which claims are made by the program.
7.02 Descriptions of Education and Training Programs
Psychologists responsible for education and training programs take reasonable steps to ensure that there is a current and accurate desciption of
*the program (including mandatory courses, counseling or service),
*training goals,
*stipends and benefits,
*requirements for satisfactory completion.
Info must be readily available to all interested parties.
7.03 Accuracy in Teaching
a) Take reasonable steps to ensure that syllabi are accurate regarding
*subject to be covered,
*bases for evaluation, and
*nature of course experiences.
Can modify syllabus as deemed necessary but must notify students.
b) Present info accurately when teaching.
7.04 Student Disclosure of Personal Info
Don't require students to disclose sensitive personal info (including relationships w/ Ps) except if
1) Requirment clearly identified in admission materials OR
2) info is necessary to evaluate and/or refer students for help w/ personal problem so as to prevent student from performing their training or professional activities in incompetent or dangerous manner
7.05 Mandatory Individual or Group Therapy
If tx required, students have option of getting tx from provider not affiliated w/ program.
7.06 Assessing Student and Supervisee Performance
a) Teachers/supervisors establish timely and specific process for giving feedback. Students are provided info about process at beginning of supervision.
b) Evaluate students/supervisees on basis of their actual performance on relevant and established program requirements.
7.07 Sexual Relationships with Student ans Supervisees
Do not have sexual relationships w/ students in your department/agency or anyone over whom you have or could potentially have evaluative authority.
