CV change in pregnancy:

- blood volume increase by 45%

- dilated renal pelvic, hyperaemic bladder , more susceptible to trama - increase uterine size, shielding bowel, more susceptible |

- pelvic fracture, difficult to diagnose retroperitoneal haemorrhage
- placental abruption - uterine rupture - fetomaternal haemorrhage , rhesus sensitization (Kleihauer Betke test) |
