instinct
behaviors animals begin life with that help them meet their needs
migration
When an animal moves from one region to another. It is an instinctive behavior.
hibernation
It means "to winter". Normal body activities slow down when and animal's heart and breathing rates slow down to almost a stop. They do not use much energy and do not need to eat because there is enough fat stored in the animal's body to keep it alive through the winter.
learned behaviors
In contrast to instinctive behaviors, these behaviors are taught after animals are born. For example, how to feed yourself, find food, and protect yourself.
