What are alteratives?
Help the body rid itself of waste, toxins and pollutants, traditionally used for any chronic degenerative condition of unknown cause.
What are the most common forms are alteratives?
Cholagogues or liver (bitter) tonics bc they help remove wastes through the liver and biliary system.
Another form alterative?
Lymphagogue - improve lymph circulation when chronic dz has affected it
What internal problems that cause "toxins" do alteratives help with?
