What are mifepristone and misoprostol?
MIFEPRISTONE = progesterone antagonist

MISOPROSTOL = Induces uterine contractions.
Why is cervical dilatation important?
PREVENTION OF UTERINE PERFORATION (reduced by 85%) and CERVICAL DAMAGE.
What is placenta previa?
Placenta has implanted directly on top of the cervix. CAN'T PASS BABY THROUGH PLACENTA.
What is placenta accreta?
Placenta has implanted IMPROPERLY into myometrium.

HEMORRHAGE risk is high during removal of placenta.
