A - Accept finding and penalty




N - Nothing, accept neither the finding or proposed penalty and have the matter resolved through formal charges and specs

MOS have this long to notify CO and render a decision regarding F.A.N. in writing on the CD (Report)

Within 3 WORKING days of the CO/XO's decision

The ICO/Asst. ICO/Auth. MOS is required to make an entry into the Citywide CD System within this time frame of the issuance of a CD

Within 5 working days of a CD being issued

The ICO/Asst. ICO/Auth. MOS is required to complete all system entries in the Citywide CD System within this time frame of the adjudication of a CD

Within 5 working days of a CD being adjudicated

If the subject of the CD or the CO gets transferred, where is the CD adjudicated?

The adjudication of the CD stays within the command regardless of whether the MOS getting the CD is transferred or the CO is transferred

How long are "A" CD's kept on the books?




How long are "B" CD's kept on the books? (PG 206-14)

"A" CD's are destroyed after 1 year, provided there aren't other disciplinary violations


*Unsubstantiated CD's are removed & destroyed from the CD Log after 1 year




"B" CD's are expunged after 3 years, provided there are no other "B" CD's or charges and after a request is made on a 49 to the CO
