Urethra (FEMALE)
at this point urinary sys independent from reproductive system. Relatively short, so bacteria can survive easily and causes lots of urinary tract infections in women.

primary sex gland for female. at birth contains all eggs women will ever have. completely surrounded by peritoneum.

Gubernaculum
name only used in the fetus. connects ovary to the ant abdominal wall. As body grows it descends the ovary.

adult remnant of the Gubernaculum. Runs from ovary to uterus.
Round Ligament
runs from uterus, through inguinal canal, attaches to the abdominal wall and to the Labia Manora.

presents opening to the Uterine tube. connects to end of the uterine tube.
