Return of the muscle function! If muscle function has returned, then you know the nerve lesion has healed. |

How long do you need to wait before you can work the affected limb after a crush/severance of peripheral nerve? |
At least 3 weeks, no massage at all because the healing of nerve is very slow and delicate. Need to consult with neurologist before you can work "on-site". |

Is Deep Moist heat okay in the neck and anterior chest area if he has hypertension or atherosclerosis in the neck vasculature? |
No! Also no muscle stripping or aggressive techniques in these circumstances. |
