What is lymphadnopathy?
Any disease of the lymph nodes
What is the appearance of malignant nodes?
Round or oval
Absent echogenic hilus
Look like baby kidneys
What is retroperitoneal adenopathy?
Swelling and morbid changes in lymph nodes
What is extranodal lymphoma?
A lymphoma that spreads directly from the nodes to the solid organs, retroperitoneal space, or the retrofascial muscles

When cancer is transferred from the nodes to other solid organs/adjacent cavities
