What are the possible causes of non-capsular patterns? |
ligaments adhesions in joint capsule internal derangements (ex: direction specific classification of LBP) extra-articular lesions (tightness/mm length deficits, soft tissue adhesions and fibrosis) |
What is the capsular patten for the GH joint? |
(> means 'more restricted than') ER > abduction > flexion > IR |
What is the capsular pattern for the elbow joint? |
(> means 'more restricted than') flexion > ext |
what is the capsular pattern for the radio-ulnar joint? |
(> means 'more restricted than') pronation = supination |
what is the the capsular pattern for the wrist? |
(> means 'more restricted than') flexion = extension |
What is the IP joints (hands) capsular pattern? |
(> means 'more restricted than') flexion > extension |
