Zenoba Book Report

Decent Essays
Hey Zenoba, it’s nice to meet you, and to hear your story. I first want to thank you for serving our country, and being in the military. I can only imagine how traumatic it was for you to have someone come into your home to rob you, and then to sustain injuries from it. But, you were a fighter, and you did not let your injuries stop you from beating the odds, even when the doctor told you that you would never be able to use your hand again. Taking that extra step, and going out and typing everyday allowed you to be where you are today, and you are completely healed. That is truly a testimony worth sharing, God bless

Ishmael is a book that was written by Daniel Quinn. What led me to read this book was that the storyline of this book seemed more interesting than the other book options. The main story line of this book didn’t have much of an impact on me, but some smaller parts did. When Ishmael, who is the main character, was talking about being in captivity versus when he was in Africa it made me wonder what actual animals feel about living in zoos. This makes me think about when I go to zoos and see animals that are visually distressed.…

in The Robber Bride. Three quite ordinary women: Tony, Charis and Roz confront a demonic character called Zenia, who at first pretends to be a devoted friend and later destroys their lives. Zenia manages to steal from each of the other women her husband or partner, but it is clear that love has nothing to do with it, at least on her part. In fact, Zenia represents all the traits of the devilish woman, as we know her from literature and film: she is seductive, beautiful, merciless, and exceptionally bloodthirsty whenever a man is involved. Her wickedness is visible at once because her three antagonists are depicted as, more or less, "Angels in the House.…
