Zenda Farms happens to be situated on the Thousand Islands Wine Trail, which is essentially the center of agritourism in New York’s North Country. Being situated in this location allows for Zenda Farms to have the potential of attracting large amount of visitor/customers from the casino area in Kingston across the Canadian border, as well as people from Watertown and Fort Drum. Local Community Zenda Farms is very active in the community of Clayton, New York, and is considered to be an integral part of the town’s history. The Clayton community greatly supports most of Zenda’s Farms activities and initiatives, like the community garden with which an estimated 25 families use, as well as the picnics and other events hosted at Zenda. Also, because many of the Clayton community is usually so supportive of Zenda Farms, and willing to help them in their endeavors, the community is akin to free laborers because they work for the farm without seeking any real form of compensation in return.
