Yukl cited by Green (Green 1999), uses for a similar sounding definition the term of expert power. In Yukl’s theory, a list of different types of power, as referent, coercive or expert power to cite a few, explains various ways of leading. In our case, expert power can be considered in the same way as expert leadership. Moreover, recently, the authors of the clinical leadership competency framework (NHS Leadership Academy 2011) have
