I received the score 27 out of 27 on “What is Your Aging IQ.” I was surprised that I knew everything on the IQ test. Some questions I was debating on. However, I just picked an answer and got the question right. I had a rationale why I picked the answer based upon my knowledge presented in other classes over my nursing school career. The classes that helped me develop rationales on the answers were med surge, assessment, or older adult. My knowledge and previous experiences with older adults also helped me answer some of the question on the IQ test. Medical surgical nursing mostly helped me answer the questions because we were taught about cancer and other diseases that gave me knowledge to answer the questions presented on the IQ test.
