In these three poems: “Connected,” “Any Human to Another,” and “Connected,” the theme of interconnectivity is displayed throughout the writings of the authors: Ian Beckett, Countee Cullen, and Wolf Irwin. These authors show that everybody feels the same sorrow and joy, but in different ways and forms. The authors express their point of view of the subject at matter through their poems of black and white beauty. These poems are written in different periods of time, but still carry the same meaningful subject of intertwined relativity.
