Problem 1

When and if the Interior Department announces to go through with an increase concerning ticket sales to America's Yellowstone National Park their end goal would be that revenues would increase from the price hike together in the same direction (Thomas & Maurice, 2010). Furthermore, the change in demand would be significantly low in percentage (Thomas & Maurice, 2010). The outcome would then be inelastic (Answer: B), inelastic means that price and revenue (in this case) moves together and quantity demand only decrease by a small percentage (Thomas & Maurice, 2010). Post Lab 3 – Ecosystem Management: The Oak Savannah at High Park 1. The upper ravine slope of High Park’s oak savannahs consist primarily of black and white oak, shrubs, wildflowers, and grasses. These ecosystems also have very dry and sandy soil, which has caused the oaks to adapt to low soil nitrogen availability levels. This causes less organic matter to be deposited in the soil leading to nutrient-deficient soils.…

From the availability of substitutes, movies have more elastic demands because, in the case of where the price has been increased, there are alternatives to watch perhaps the same movie for a lower price.
