Case of Yash and his unsuccessful tribute as a Salesman

Summary : Mr. VIrk, a salesman everyone loves and adore. Has been working for 39

years in the MSU entertainment. Yash has made a big name for himself in the industry, as

everyone loves him and his great and friendly personality. He has taken the company to

the top and has even beaten its competitors for 8 years in a row. Though the current sales,

are not how they were 15 to 20 years back. The sales have gone down 20% in just the

span of a year. Mr. Virk doesn't seem to care and is quite unaware of this and he is

unaccepting of change. As he still has a mindset of the 20th century and is not really

planning on changing himself, at the time of itunes, and the digital

The company is going through its worst phase since 1994 and the sales have

gone down 20 percent last year. Yash being an old fashioned old age person, is not

willing to change. As Yash is also over-confident and unaware of the company’s sales,

seems as if he doesn't care about what he is doing anymore and the company's extreme

drop in sales doesn't bother him. From the conference it could be seen that he has

difficulty accepting change.

Problem Analysis : Over the last 10 to 15 years, the company is not as great as it was

before, it is going through its worst phase. Its 2017 and still have the same Mr.Virk, who

believes in morals and ethics of the 80s and is not accepting any change. They way he

sold back then, can’t be done the same way which makes sense considering there’s been

a drastic change in time. The culture of today is far far different, the beliefs, the morals,

the thinking. In the digital era we live in, we keep our faith in social media. In this digital

era, we don't need need fancy recording studios to audition, we have youtube, so many

online sources where he can find talent, but Mr. Virk does not seem to understand the

benefits of the online world. Where as he has little to no understanding of it. A

Tough terminating him reminds me of how in 1985 Steve jobs was kicked out

of his own company as he was not liked by his co-workers. Which later dragged the

company down for awhile until they brought him back. That's because he represented

apple, consumers trusted him and he was quite popular. He was the image of of apple.

As here Mr. Virk is also our image of the company, the consumers still do trust him and

he is still quiet popular. The things is Apple sales weren't bad when they kicked him off,

over here though, the sales are already not in great hands. If we still want Mr. Virk to

represent us but not really do the main work, we can get him into vinyl records, for the

counter- culture that prefers it. While we hire someone better for his position he is at right

now, who can take care and have a much better understanding of it. By this we have Mr.

Virk, still being our image but not in charge of the regular music sales, and someone

more talented can do his current job.If not then we can still keep him at his position but

we get him to take a 4 week course, where he changes his perspective on today's

\Those who study history note how human beings conquer other nations and force their cultural beliefs upon them. The victors impose their ideals like religion onto the defeated, abolish their ways of thinking to be replaced by those of the conquerors. Human nature proves thus: humans wish to live in an environment which holds beliefs and mindsets similar to our own. If not, they begin to feel uncomfortable for fear of displacement. The two books Alice in Wonderland and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court explore this desire to alter one’s surroundings.…

Equality however goes against this thought process in every action he does in the novella, by going into the tunnel, steeling pages and a writing utensil, and thinking for himself. The quote he says has a deeper meaning than its words set forth, when he says all men he doesn’t mean just one group he literally means any and all people in his or any society, and by secrets he doesn’t mean some treasure, he means things that could help such as electricity. When he says only for those who will seek it he means only those of which will do as he did and stand up against…

Working in an office also has a number of disadvantages, aside from its benefits, which caused the trend of doing work at home to bloom. These drawbacks reduced the number of employees patronizing jobs done in an office environment. To start with, working in an office consumes more of individual’s personal time. As stated by Manuron (retrieved 2015), even though making more money is beneficial to a family financially, a family is likely to suffer in other ways because of an individual’s absence in some special family occasions, his irritability towards them and other constraints of working overtime.…
