CONCLUTION When I write my project from the perspective of the Yangtze finless porpoise, I probed a bit deeper into what happened to this species. In recent years, many sciences and conservationist do a lot of effort on protect the Yangtze finless porpoise, such as set up a longer blanket fishing moratorium. If the Yangtze finless porpoise extinct, this will become a big problem to the the Yangtze River ecosystem. The finless porpoise is an icon of an ecosystem under siege. Therefore, many researchers hope to make a last-ditch effort to stabilize the Yangtze ecosystem and prevent further extinctions. There are several way we can help to protect the Yangtze finless porpoise:
(1) Don’t eat those endangered fish
(2) Protect the water environment and decreases the discharge of wastewater
(3) Participate in volunteering, teach others why we need to protect and how to

The Great Wall of China was an inconvenience to the country; even though it was a very famous historical landmark, it was a waste of time, resources, and men. Just north of Key Biscayne in sunny Miami, Virgina Key is a protected barrier Island in the Atlantic ocean. Consisting of 863 acres of land, it was once much larger, extending into the Ft. Lauderdale area. Between 1835 and 1838 hurricanes eroded the beach, creating inlets and dividing the island in two. The other portion became Fisher Island, which sits at the southernmost tip of Miami Beach. Virgina Key was a part of the civil rights movement.…

For example, wild salmon that have been reared in hatcheries can successfully reproduce, but they are significantly smaller (p < 0.0001) than their wild relatives (sometimes by a difference of over 40 centimeters), and produce fewer surviving hatchlings (Stark, Atkinson, and Kozfkay, 2014). Likewise, certain fish passages achieve nearly seventy percent success in transporting salmon, but even these thoroughfares fail to meet the minimum goals set by certain governments (Noonan, et al., 2011). The third strategy, dam alteration and removal, is a drastic approach, but it appears to mitigate some of the greatest difficulties faced by the other two methods; moreover, Bednarek (2001) reports that removing dams usually has positive effects on entire river ecosystems. Thus, my research indicates that this strategy may be the most ecologically holistic and effective means of salmon restoration, and I propose that further research should be directed toward dam modifications (and removals, when possible) in crucial Chinook-spawning rivers. Although the removing dams is a socially and economically challenging process, restoring Chinook populations is essential for the well-being of the humans, Southern Resident orcas, and ecosystems that depend on these fish for the nutrients and services…

Whales are starting to extinct and whaling is one of the important causes of this problem. The blue whale is the largest animal and a lot of them are found in the Antarctic. The specie reduced abundantly because of hunting in the 20th century. The Antarctic blue whale is classified as Critically Endangered on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN)…

In the essay “Marine Parks”, in The Power of Critical Thinking by Bill Daly, Daly’s main claim is that marine parks that house dolphins, whales and other marine mammals, have become a contentious issue. He goes into detail in his critique of the issues, and argues against the necessity of these institutions, some of which are still in operation. The author gathers different arguments from other people that argue for or against having marine parks open; as well as arguments that are in support of maintaining the parks, which some claim is of economic and scientific value. Below I intend to present arguments on this issue, and introduce some critical evaluations, as well as my personal opinion. The author, while arguing against the maintaining of marine parks, brings forward other people’s views as evidence to support his position.…

Many species in the world are endangered and eventually becoming extinct. The main problem that generates extinction is human activity; people cause extinction every day and unknowingly to them, it is killing innocent animals. Due to pollution, natural forces, human interaction, and loss of habitats, animal extinction is a major crisis in the world; people are the only ones that can save the animal population before it is too late. Pollution is among the most insidious threats to animal extinction. It can be as obvious as sewage and oil spills in water or as invisible as chemicals used every day.…
