Dead puppies that were unable to withstand the vigorous training could be found all over the grounds until something would finally come and eat them or they were covered in snow and forgotten about. The Vampires that ran the facility were horrible people that only looked for profit doing whatever it took to get the most out of their animals, even if that meant beating the hell out of them when they messed up. Sounds of yelling could almost always be heard as well as constant yelps and even screams from the hounds that had mastered their human forms. Training was terrifying to young Xia as she was small and unable to keep up with everyone else, she struggled to do what she was told often times getting distracted and wandering off only to be brought back and beat down in-front of the others. The only way they figured they could get back all the time and money they had put into her was by forcing her to get pregnant so they could snatch her puppies away and sell them. She was understandably devastated and found herself clinging to her brother as if her life depended on it fighting anyone that tried to pry her away until they eventually managed to get her away from him.
