First semester and second semester of last year I got a parking ticket because there weren't any spots open In Commons 1. The first time I got a ticket I went to the store, came back, and there weren't any spots. So, I parked in the handicapped spot. The ULM police department charged me $150. Something was telling me not to go but I went anyway. The risk treatment method that I used is retain. It is classified as this method because I retained risk by staying in the handicapped spot and avoided risk by leaving the car there. I know now that parking on the grass, curb, and Starbucks is $50 and not $150. The risk management decision method that I would have chosen if I had to do it over again is avoid. I avoided risk by parked there anyway. Later on in the second semester I got another ticket and it was $50. One night I parked on the side of Starbucks because I was at the library from 8pm-12am. So, I left my car at Starbucks because I already knew that the parking lot was going to be full. It was also late and I didn't feel comfortable walking alone. I felt that it was safe because on campus sometimes there aren’t enough policeman around. I feel that our campus it is very important to have an excessive amount of policeman. The police department should have a greater amount that way we feel safe. Especially working after hours. Getting those tickets were awful and each time I got one I was so sad. The parking situation in Commons 1 is horrible. There are five parking lots that our building allows us to park at but they’re always full. The risk treatment management method that I used is to retain from is getting a parking

To conduct this experiment, two researchers stood in front of a mall and observed shoppers who parked their cars in the fifty two parking spots closest to them. “The university charges students $61 per semester for parking,” says an article from the Dayton Daily News, “As of last year, WSU has 16,842 students who attend classes at the main campus in Fairborn.” Since the start of the 2015 Fall Semester, numerous parking citations have been issued to students who are in violation of Wright State’s parking policy, but the reason for these violations is not what one might think. Students complain about the difficulty and competition associated with the search for a designated, legal parking space, whether they’re on-campus residents or commuters. After repeatedly circumnavigating their designated parking lot looking for a free space, students, who are either in danger of being late to their class or…
