Many times we find that a lot of people really don’t know the difference between personal and business writing styles when communicating with others. Other examples of written communication are generally used with clients or other business settings that include internet websites, letters, proposals, telegrams, faxes, postcards, contracts, advertisements, brochures, and news releases. The skills are needed for written communication are as following structure, style and content. Structure means to clarify your thoughts and the purpose of your communication before you start writing. In business communications, clarity is more important than style. Identify the key points, facts and themes. Decide on a logical order for what you have to say. Compose a strong introduction and ending. The first will make an immediate and positive impression on the reader; the second will remain in their mind after they have finished. Therefore I added my experience to let them know not only am I passionate but I work in my field. In my paper I said that I worked as a college aide at the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) in the payroll and timekeeping department and employee benefits / wellness department. Lastly, I went back to identifying the purpose of my essay was to show my accomplishment along with sharing my desire to attend an MBA program in the fall. I said I feel as though this internship has given me powerful hands on experience. My office is not only my team but I get to interact with people who work in accounting , create contracts for employees , fight hacking with inside personal information and closely with the Presidents Bianco marketing department .
