As Gil Wayne once said “When you are a nurse you know that everyday you will touch a life or a life will touch yours” As a nurse you will have many responsibilities, you will provide care and comfort to a patient. If you do want to have a career in health care, you must have a high school diploma, bachelor's degree and also must complete all training and exams. Many people attend colleges 4-8 years. Most nurses with an two year bachelor's degree, tend to have strong skills and more practice. Many nurses use math concepts for measurements, they often work on computers to help set up appointments and also write down information on patients, often help patients with many types of care. Most of all many nurses help new mothers with their infants. Many registered nurses have jobs as a school nurse, they work with students cope their illness and working in a school environment means many students will deal with many problems and also nurses are there for them to talk too. They also keep records on patients. Many nurses have 8 - 12 hours shifts, they wear comfortable gear, also use many kinds of equipment when needed, and a lot of coffee. Jobs with health care you will have different types of payments due to your job. Nurses enjoy there job, also a good way to make a living.
