Medicine. Many people have had a profession from this field scrolled down on their imaginary or physical possible-professions list. However, this may not be the best profession for you. Many of the medical shows out there, such as Grey’s Anatomy, which both romanticizes and dramatizes the health field, are not the best reference for a wannabe-med-student. For example, emergency room doctors must be calm during hectic situations. These qualities would not be needed in a family doctor. Family doctors should be good with kids and able to form a long-term relationships. Similarly, these traits would not be helpful to an ER doctor.
