The working memomory is an exception tool that is used by everyone on a daily basis concsiencely and unconscienly. Our sensory regiesters such as the visual, audotory and haptic sends information that was given attention, to the short term memory. The short term memory maintains information for a short period of time. The long term store however is the rehersal and the usage of retrieval strategies of information in the mind. Baddely has then defined working memory as the system that is held by the brain that provides storage of information for multifarious tasks such as the usage of cognition in language, learning and daily reasoning. A working memory is not only necessary but a must, we rely on it without knowing the great importance of it.
