DOI: 03/23/2015. The patient is a 31-year-old male apprentice climber who sustained a work-related injury to his right knee when his left boot sole got stuck on fence, causing his full weight to bear on the right leg.
MRI of the right knee dated 7/25/2016 revealed mild knee joint effusion. Suggestion of complex tear involving the posterior horn of the medial meniscus and horizontal tear of the lateral meniscus.
As per progress report dated 8/10/2016, patient continues his gym exercise and reports knee giving out. He feels uneasy when standing on uneven ground. The patient continues to take Ketoprofen which relieves his knee pain. He notes that sleep has improved with Lunesta.
