Day three: Writing a simple story about your scene and winter activity

Duration of the Lesson: 40 minutes

Lesson Plan Title and Summary:
The name of this lesson is Writing about a Winter Activity. After the first day being read Snowflakes Fall and writing a winter activity list on the board and on the second day being asked to draw out their favorite winter activity the students now on the third day will write a mini-story in great detail about their activity they chose. This mini-story will require how they would do this activity by having them explain what happens and also what it may look like by giving details.

Winter: the coldest season of the year which happens between Autumn and Spring.

Activities: the condition of which things are happening or being done.

Connections Across the Curriculum:
Reading: They will be read aloud the prompt for the mini- story they will be writing on notebook paper.

Writing: They will be writing a mini-story on their winter activity they have chosen.

Instructional Sequence: Introduction: (10 minutes)
I will begin with going over the example drawing I drew on the board the day before of the winter activity I like to do.
I will then ask the students how they would write about this in a mini-story after drawing it out on paper.
Each one of the students will share one thing on how they would approach this story. Development: (20 minutes)
I will then draw out a brainstorm chart on the board about what details to put in the story of how to make a
