To lead by example has been etched into humanity’s history for many generations. One of the greatest examples of leadership by example was under the guidance of Winston Churchill, the acting prime minster of the United Kingdom during World War II. Under his tenure, Winston Churchill was able to unite the people and lead them through one of the harshest wars that the United Kingdom had ever fought up to that point. His bravery and defiance against the wrath of the mighty Germans proved decisive as he set an example for the people to follow which ultimately lead to the successful defense of the United Kingdom during the Battle of Britain. He did this through is inspiring speeches and his famous “V for victory” sign.Without his ability to lead
